KRIS-TL-IN
Krystalline is an experienced documentary film editor who has been shaping powerful nonfiction stories for over a decade. After five formative years at the Emmy-winning production company Story Syndicate, Krystalline now works independently as a freelance editor on feature films and series.
Krystalline centers human emotion and experience in every project she takes on. She is intentional about the stories she tells, choosing to work on projects that highlight people and communities she cares about. Even within the conventions of true crime, her focus remains on honoring the lives and complexities of those at the heart of the narrative – especially victims whose voices are often overlooked. Krystalline is known for her clear, purposeful story structure and her ability to shape narrative arcs that reveal character, evoke emotion, and leave a lasting impact.
Her recent work includes Last Take: Rust and the Story of Halyna, a feature documentary about cinematographer Halyna Hutchins, who was shot and killed on the set of Rust. As Lead Editor, Krystalline helped shape the film’s structure and tone, balancing journalistic integrity with cinematic storytelling. She also co-edited All In: The Fight for Democracy, an Emmy- and ACE Eddie-nominated feature following Stacey Abrams' fight against voter suppression in the United States.
Based in New York City, Krystalline is available for both remote and in-person projects.
